How To Integrate Your Data with an Up-To-Date Mouse Knowledge Network

Creating the network

1. Download the latest Hanalyzer release from the Hanalyzer Package Page


2. Unpack the hanalyer-X.X.tar.gz tarball into a directory of your choosing ([HANALYZER-DIR])


3. Follow the installation instructions in the HanalyzerUserManual-X.X.pdf (located in the doc directory of the downloaded package). The application requires Java 1.5 or better as well as a number of external libraries that you must retrieve before proceeding.


4. Read and follow the "Running the Hanalyzer" section in the HanalyzerUserManual-X.X.pdf

Exploring the network

1. Install Cytoscape. Please visit the Cytoscape website and following the download and installation instructions for your operating system.


2. Install the Cytoscape plugins that have been developed to support Hanalyzer network navigation. Please see the Hanalyzer Cytoscape Plugins Support Page for details on installing and using the Cytoscape plugins.


3. Read and follow the instructions in the HanalyzerAnalysisManual-X.X.pdf that comes with the release in the doc directory
